Animal Care in Argentina

This worthwhile project is ideal for anyone who enjoys working with animals and in the great outdoors. Volunteers spend time at an animal sanctuary that focuses on the care of a wide variety of animals that have been brought to the centre because of injuries or elimination of their natural habitat.

The project is based in the Pumakawa Nature Reserve in Villa Rumipal, about two hours away from the city of Cordoba. The reserve sits on two hectares of hills and forests. You will feed and care for the animals and have the chance to observe how some of the wilder animals are treated. You will also help with maintenance work at the centre.

This High School Project includes recreational activities in the evenings and on the weekend such as trips to the surrounding hills, a bonfire, or a games night.

Volunteers will be accommodated in a hostel at the sanctuary, in same-sex rooms with good facilities. There is also limited internet access.
