Gap Year Volunteer Projects

Many young people take part in Gap Year Placements with Projects Abroad before starting university or even after graduation. People volunteer overseas from one month upwards, so you can choose whether to spend all or just part of your gap year volunteering overseas. Volunteer Abroad

Volunteering overseas is an amazing experience on our placements, which include teaching, care, conservation, medicine, journalism, law and business projects. Summer Placements

Summer placements are available in all our destinations. You could choose to volunteer during the summer for one or two months or if you are 16 to 19, volunteer abroad on one of our 2-Week Specials projects, to get a taste of living and working abroad on a wide range of projects during your summer holidays. Volunteer Abroad in Asia

Volunteering abroad in Asia with Projects Abroad offers you the choice of a wide range of projects in Cambodia, China, India, Mongolia, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Thailand. Volunteer in Africa

Volunteer in Africa with Projects Abroad. We offer volunteer work in Ghana, Ethiopia, Morocco, Senegal, South Africa. Overseas Voluntary Work in Latin America

Overseas voluntary work in Central and South America with Projects Abroad could include a project in Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Mexico or Peru. You could work in an orphanage in Bolivia, teach English in Peru, or take part in a conservation project protecting turtles and crocodiles in Mexico! Teaching Projects Abroad

Our teaching projects abroad focus on conversational English teaching and don't require TEFL qualifications. You could volunteer in Africa, Asia, Latin America or Eastern Europe and our teaching projects take place in schools, universities and orphanages.
