Medicine in Cambodia

This programme allows volunteers to experience and learn about healthcare in a developing country. Volunteers are based in Phnom Penh and will stay in either a guesthouse or hotel.

You will work alongside the Projects Abroad Coordinator, as well as a medical intern and visit a public hospital in Phnom Penh, a health centre in the community and have the chance to learn about traditional Khmer medicine.

As a volunteer on the Medicine High School Projects in Cambodia, you will also be able to get involved with outreach activities and help provide public health education in schools and the local community.

No trip to Cambodia is complete without visiting the magnificent temples of Angkor Wat, so the weekend trip will allow you time to visit several of the main temple sites.
